The Legend of Putri Ayu Limbasari

Long time ago,there was “klemba” trees which its fruit was very sweet. It grew up in plateu. Because of that , this village called “Limbasari”. In this village there lived farmer’s family who have daughter named Sari and step son named Wlingi kusuma.

Sari was beautiful and polite girl,so there were many boys from other village came to her house to proposed her,but her step brother Wlingi Kusuma was angry when the boys came to his house to proposed Sari because actualy he was falling in love with Sari. One day, when their parent went out, Wlingi said to Sari that actualy he was falling in love her. Sari was pale when heard about it. Wlingi also threaten Sari ,he said that if Sari accepted one of boys who proposed her,she will has killed her. After knowing that,Sari was confused and afraid. What should she did to overcame this problem. One day,when Wlingi went out she told about her problem to her parent. “ma’m may I say something to you ?” asked Sari   “ of course. What happend my beautiful daughter?” answered her mother. “ ma’am do you know,Wlingi said that he wsa falling in love to me and he also threaten me if I accepted one of boys who proposed me, he will has killed me.” “ oh my God !!” her mother was very surprised. They confused how to overcame this problem.

Finally, Sari has solution. She decide to buried herself. She noticed to her parent that when she was burying ,she would put yarn on her grave,if the yarn was still moving it meant that she still lived, but if the yarn wasn’t moving it meat that she died. After several days, the yarn didn’t move and it meant that she was died. Finally all of her family was very sad included her step brother who regreted about it.

It was legend about Putri Ayu Limbasari, the girl who make a sacrifice to her step brother and other people.
